- Payment-related information provided through Stripe.

- To send payment confirmations, result access links, and support messages.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse.

4. Confidential Documents
We treat uploaded documents as confidential information. We use secure service providers to process files and limit access to the minimum necessary to operate and support the service. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.
5. Storage and Retention
We may retain uploaded files, extracted text, generated results, support records, and related logs for a limited period as needed to deliver results, maintain service reliability, investigate issues, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell uploaded document contents.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate the service, including:
- Vercel for hosting and application delivery.
- Supabase for application data storage.
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Resend for email delivery.
- AI model providers for document analysis and translation.
7. Payments
Payment card details are processed by Stripe. DocuClear does not store full card numbers. Please review Stripe’s privacy and security information if you want more detail on how payment data is handled.
8. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Even so, internet-based services always carry some security risk. Please upload documents only from a trusted device and connection.
9. Your Choices
You may contact us to request deletion of certain account-related information or to ask questions about how your information is handled. We may keep certain records where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes.
10. California Privacy Notice
California residents may have additional privacy rights under applicable law, including rights to know about categories of personal information collected, sources, business purposes, and categories of third parties with whom information is shared.
11. Children
DocuClear is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
